Northwest Nitro Nationals Pro Hillclimb was started in 2011 by Jeff Snipes at the same location where his father and other motorcycle hillclimbers had competed back in the 1960s. Some research and a Craigslist ad later, Jeff had made contact with the owner of the property and solidified arrangements to hold the first ever NAHA (North American Hillclimbers Association) sanctioned Northwest Nitro Nationals hillclimb event, and the event has continued yearly since then welcoming hillclimb riders and fans from all over the United States.
In 2014, additional members came aboard bringing their own unique talents to the group. This group of individuals has helped create a truly unique event, and as a result of their efforts, NWNN has been named NAHAs "Venue of the Year" multiple times in its short, yet full history. Our goal is to continue to grow the venue year after year, and to continue to make improvements to the venue over each previous year.
